This is not assuming that I care, or know, or agree, or disagree, but just a question:
Why should the color of your iPhone be related to the color of your MBPro?

What if you have a white SE, or red (?)
Not too sure I would want a red MBPro, but ...

Because introducing a new black Apple product means they figured out the right formula to paint black on aluminum without getting damaged easily (2013 iPad controversy), which had them move away to a more durable "Space Gray". Space gray on the MacBook Pro is too subtle a color. I own one and sometimes I have to remind myself that I bought the Gray version.

Not interested. Black would just remind me of the tens of millions of generic black laptops of years past. If you want black it is pretty easy to vinyl wrap it (at least the outside of it).

I would also love a beige option. No lie.

How did they do the iPhone 7 in black Aluminum? Is it just because it had less surface area?
