I love my ipod touch 2g.

It's great for music, watching video pod-casts, taking notes and reading daily news on the subway (via Instapaper). However, I occasionally use it simultaneously with my small form-factor 1st generation 1Gb ipod nano which allows me to start some music, slip it into that tiny denim (lighter?) pocket and forget about it. Naturally, this leaves my ipod touch earphone-wire-free and it's *so* liberating... and something else dawned on me. The nano is primarily a music player so it can be out of sight, but the touch does so much more and thus demands that visual attention.

Funny thing is that I have no qualms carrying two devices from time-to-time. I know, it's contrary to the usual "one device does all" message, but I'm so glad to maximize usage of both my ipods.

So, is there anybody else out there with a story to share about their interesting ipod combo setup?
