The Leaks Really Ruined The Excitement For Me But...

Leaks are a double-edged sword - they ease our anticipation but they take the excitement out of the big reveal. They are getting more accurate each time and they are not going away anytime soon.

One thing though, knowing what's coming beforehand, I now have a clearer mind to think and decide on what phone to buy next as opposed to still recovering from the announcement LOL!

The leaks definitely took a lot of anticipation away. But that's only for those who really were also paying attention to tech sites as well. But almost everything was entirely leaked.

Did they announce anything that hadn't been written about here beforehand?

I'm sure most of the speculation about 4K content pricing was that it would be more than HD, but other than that I can't think of a single surprise. Most, if not all, of the people in the audience, must be exactly the same.

I kind of miss the 'one more thing' excitement and finding out something new, although if there weren't any rumours what would become of sites like this?

After failing to 'double down' on security, Apple need to up their game and 'triple down' or even 'quadruple down'

Yep, you're right: the only surprise for me is about the Apple TV 4K pricing and free upgrade to movies you've bought in HD. This for me is the big reveal because I buy my movies on iTunes.

I'm coming from a 6+ and I'm a part-time videographer. It's a toss up between the 256GB 8 and X but after all the leaks and the pricing revealed today, the CAD$250 difference for me is mute...the X edging the 8 right now for me.
