the left internal speaker on Macbook air m1 2020 issue

I noticed when I move the speaker balance to the right, sound comes out from the right speaker without any problem, no sound on the left. However, when moving the balance to the left, sound seems still coming out from the right speaker, but missing the bass.

I have tried to kill coreaudiod, deleted MIDI setting. But nothing helps.

Any idea why it's happening like that? Diagnostics give no error. If the internal speaker has hardware problem, I assumed the diagnostics should give me an error code?

Hardware diagnostics aren’t going to give an error for something the computer cannot evaluate the output of. You wouldn’t get an error if the LCD backlight failed or if the glass was cracked.
