The Login Window

Is there a way to get the "Other..." option off the login window? Evidently, from some googling, it was an obvious option in earlier versions of osx, as part of the login options.

I'm now running Panther (upgraded from jag) and its not so obvious anymore.

enter password

Disable Root user
