Good Morning Everyone! My Names Chris & I’m new to this site! I am posting my Discussion/update here because today I worked on the MacBook Air, I had a smashed screen 2013 MacBook Air 13” and I recently (past week or so) bought a perfect condition MacBook Air (same Year, model) as the smashed one I’ve had, I bought the Air from EBay at a low price knowing it was EFI locked because it didn’t matter to me of that issue, I took the logic board from my old air and completely replaced the EFI LOCKED board out of the new one and worked without any problems! I also have coming in the mail a Nvme SSD & Adapter to give the MacBook a better life and some new speed! I also am currently running Ventura with OpenCore Patcher & so far so good, no bugs I’ve noticed. I have run the patch before and it’s running smoothly! I will be posting more updates on all of my projects as I have a 2010 IMac 27” I5 with a 1TB SSD drive & a 4TB HDD, 16GB Ram, Ventura OS, a 2009 MacBook Pro 13” 8GB, 480GB SSD as well! Here is the Specs to my Custom Machine: Asus ROG Strix B450F-V2, AMD Ryzen 5 2600 6 Core, 8GB 3200ghz, WD BLACK 2TB SN770 Nvme SSD, Windows 10 64bit, Linux Manjaro KDE Distro (Dual Boot)!! That’s it for my current projects & toys! I will continue to make updates & I would love advice & opinions on what didn’t & did work for you guys with the machines I listed above! Positive feedback & upgrade advice would be great & the Max compatibility’s I can upgrade to! I plan to keep them for a while longer and get the most I can out of them! If they work why get rid of them! Thank you for following & glad to be here!

Very cool. I recently was given a 2015 21" iMac with no screen that I am going to fix and a 2011 iMac with a HDD that works and I am going to replace the HDD with a SSD.

I have an old 2015 MSI laptop 17" that I run various versions of Linux on and several other older Windows machines and an old Asus tablet running windows 7 with touch and stylus.

I look forward to your further adventures and nicely done.

Thank you for sharing with me! I have an update on the Air I have received the Nvme to M.2 new version adapter and installed same Os Setup Ventura onto a 2TB WD Black M.2 and it is pretty fast a few seconds better then the old SSD! Just a cool update and the fact of 2TB of space on a 2013 MacBook Air is the coolest part
