I had placed my 2012 Macbook Air under some pillows (not thick ones but just sofa small pillows) and then unfortunately we sat directly on the pillow with our full weight.

When I realised I was freaking out but it appears no damage was done.

Very good stuff! :)

About 70-75kgs was sat on!

You should not putt stuff under pillows... Instead of being happy the MBA is intact, be happy that you didn't forget something sharp under the pillow instead.

Why did you do this? Seems asking for what happened.

I was working on my sofa and realised that my Excel Mac edition can't connect to some data connections so I grabbed my Windows laptop and then put my Macbook on the sofa... the pillows must've fell on them.
