I'd like to hear what it's like moving to the AW Series 10 with the smallest screen size and no cellular.

I feel like what Hartley said about being used to various platforms spoke a lot to my experience with Spotify. I've always been on the Apple Music side, and when I tried Spotify, I just didn't like the UI as much as Apple Music. Also, what keeps me on Apple Music is the integration of local files, which I have quite a few. I also like shuffling my entire library, something I can't do on Spotify until I just make a large playlist. It's easier to manage on Apple Music.

Now I just wish Last.fm integration worked with the Apple TV Apple Music, and since I have Android, that integration could be better but I know they won't improve it.

Hear, hear!

I will resist the temptation to suggest you try switching to the iPhone mini. ;)

But you could try out YouTube Music. The recommendations work well, and one advantage is that it includes user uploads, which gets you recordings you don’t get anywhere else. It also has the feature mentioned by Hartley to shuffle all songs in your library from a particular artist.

Check how the right AirPod is set up. I had this begin to happen with mine and found that if I turned off both transparency and/or noise cancellation, the problem went away. This limits their use, but I think that it will allow them to make it to the next set of AirPods Pro.

Dan: Do I see a lego Fender guitar & amp in the background?!?! I built one too. Sits in my music room. Originally did the red, but I accidentally knocked it over and had to rebuild the guitar so I went black. Looks like David Gilmour’s black strat.

Enjoy this, and being in London, appreciate the balance of accents ;) You two have good rapport and thanks for the input. Picking up on the opening 5mins, it reminds when speaking to a Sr. Apple type here as I was disappointed how quickly my first gen original APs died and he conceded they're basically a disposable product. Ha! Whilst I love the ease of being wireless (but think I'll do a Hartley and go back to wired at desk as also feel the fatigue) it does seem a shame expensive and helpful tech can't last a little longer.

Typing as I listen to my vinyl, through a 30yr old amp and speakers I found on Gumtree. Still sound beautiful. Nice.

Oh, and my Sony headphones (albeit with no mic and 3.5mm jack that needs connector) but bought them, ahem, 33yrs ago as a teen. Still look like anything you'd buy today, and sound great. Would love a bit more longevity in today's tech too.

My "tech change" is getting a 16 Pro this year instead of a 16 Pro Max. I didn't want to wait until my carrier store had a Pro Max in stock. The 16 Pro was available in stock. I am really liking the smaller 16 Pro.

If Dan and Hartley want another tech change...use Apple Pencil more and whenever you talk about Vision Pro both of you put on the goggles

The battery life on the base iPhone 16 is also incredible. I get 3 days out of mine with normal/light usage.

My tech change was switching from a 2017 21.5 inch iMac to the M4 Mac Mini Pro. It was quite the upgrade, as you can imagine!
