At first I eas one of those who had the Ipad 2 and couldn't notice the difference but how wrong was I after a few minutes use. The text is crisp, images are bright, forum banners show up in crystal warm blues much better than my PC screen.

Instantly I can look at my Ipad third gen and think pixely like the 3GS > Iphone 4.

Anybody who doubts the screen is wrong. It's so vibrant.

I was just doing a side by side comparison of this form with iPad 2 and new iPad. The lines and text look way better on the new iPad.

The Lines look fatter and text a little blurred on the iPad 2.

I've been doing the same and of course the wife is like, "I don't see a difference..."

Stupid women lol

Reading the mr forums on this new iPad is crystal clear... It's really amazing actually. This screen rocks!!!

So far everyone woman I have showed them side by side to couldn't tell a difference. Every guy did right away. That is all. LOL, it was a joke.

You should have been at my work place when I unboxed my iPad. Everyone was expecting the worlds biggest difference. Some couldn't see the differences immediately but once you sit down with the device, read a few articles and browse the web for high resolution images you start to appreciate just how fantastic the screen is.

This has made the iPad the world best consumption device.

Anyone who can't see a difference, especially with the two things side by side, needs glasses. And I mean that totally seriously.

I'm a man and I DON'T see much difference - it's crisper but it's very subtle. I'm on your wife's side. Those that are amazed by the screen are just mentally justifying their purchase. :p

At normal reading distance nobody I showed it to (meaning not a single one) could tell the difference between the iPad 1 and iPad 2. About 10 people so far but I'll keep asking.

Let them have both devices for half an hour each and I can assure you that the iPad 3 will entail less double tapping or pinching & zooming.
