I get that for whatever reason that the MBA hasn't been updated. However, the most insulting aspect of the lack of MBA updates has been their refusal to drop the prices over time. According to the Buyer's Guide, we are approaching a year and a half since they released the rev. C, yet the price hasn't been dropped to reflect changes to the tech marketplace. It used to be the case that Apple would reduce prices every 6 to 12 months to stimulate interest in older products when they weren't updated. Doesn't seem to be the case with the MBA. I fear they are going to see a lack of sales as an indication of no market existing for the MBA rather than seeing that it has been surpassed by competitors in both performance and price.

If they aren't going to release new models, drop the price of the existing one!
