iPhone 12 The most surprising thing about the iPhone 12

I received my blue iPhone 12 yesterday. I had worried about the colour — based on photos and videos — but it's actually just like the Apple renders.

What did shock me, and still shocks me every time I pick it up, is how light it feels. To the point where I'm convinced I've got a demonstration model which is filled with polystyrene. Except it works, somehow.

It's really quite unsettling. It just doesn't feel as heavy as its size suggests.

Not that I'm complaining. Light is good.

My surprise is how light the 12 Pro feels in hand and how much smaller it is than the XR I came from.

Same, if my pro was any lighter it would feel all kinds of wrong. Just like the wife’s old Lumia 650, huge phone and no weight at all.
