About two days ago i notices a shaded area on my desktop:
attachment.php


When i put my curser over it i get the Spinning ball. Trying to see if a program is running in the background going to force quit but nothing is listed.

Can anyone help?:D

When you click on it, does the context menu on the left side of the change? I just found the same thing, but it was in regards to Chrome.
 
Does Activity Monitor help at all? It should show all running processes and tell you what's not responding. Assuming it's an app that starts automatically, you could go to the startup items and try to identify it that way.
