Intel HD Graphics 530 (GT2) compared to Intel Iris Graphics Pro (GT3e)
You might say who cares, it has a dedicated GPU inside.

I care, because at least I know while sipping power using iGPU, my older MacBook Pro is faster than the newer one.

It seems that Apple is preparing to Intel ditching is high-performance iGPU line. Don't see any issue here. You get an AMD GPU which is over twice as fast as the old iGPU.

P.S. A common misconception is that the iGPU is using less power than a dGPU. Not when you are actually using something that needs GPU performance. For basic UI compositing, it won't matter. For GPU-intensive stuff, you'll get vastly superiour performance with comparable power draw.
