My cousin is a student who works mostly on graphics design and photo editing. Considering 15" MacBook pro with retina display with the NVIDIA graphics card. So here is the dilemma
The best price we can get on the new 2.5GHz model (MGXC2LL/A) after the education discount with tax is $2460 and a $100 gift card. But for the 2.3GHz model (ME294LL/A) is $2229 (no tax for us) on amazon and $2249 in most other places (B&H, Adorama, MacMall, etc also no tax)...
Everything else seems to be identical except the extra processor speed. So, is the extra 200MHz processor speed worth the additional $130?? Should we go for the new 2.5GHz model or the 2.3GHz model??
