This may seem like a small thing but the features on the Mavericks activity monitor are amazing. Useful things that I have wanted for ages like :

per process disk monitor
per process network monitor
per process network monitor

(mainly the first two)

Thanks Apple :) . I have a good feeling about the new direction of their software.

and the per process energy monitor could come in handy too :)
