the new app library in tahohe is possibly one of the worst possible implementation

with all the space there is , they decided to put it in a small box (spotlight) and horizontally, whilst killing launchpad altogether

imo it would have been much better if we got something akin to ipadOS (very ugly image but you get the idea) . current implementation is useless and painful

or heck, even something like the second image

i find the replacement for launchpad to be effective, fast, functional. thought i'd miss launchpad too, but... i don't 🤷

No automatic folder

No custom folder that doesn't reflect on /applications

No horizontal scrolling , which requires more precision

Yeah I did exactly that, only it was 2009, on Snow Leopard, because launchpad didn't exist yet. Is that progress??
