Why is this item STILL not available? Its been almost a month since it was announced and its still not available. What the deal? I need it soon as my original BT keyboard is going as the keys have stiffened considerably
 
i'm along with you, been waiting for a month now.. hopefully just a couple more days... I can't seem to figure out what the hold up is... oh well :rolleyes:

You'd think so. But the online store still has estimated shipping 3-4 weeks ago....terrible in my opinion. Seriously, how hard is it to ship those bad boys? Already had the wired version over a month...
 
Seriously...

Wow, I didn't realize that it still hasn't started shipping, yet. I guess they just wanted to announce it with the iMac.

Well, I still can't afford this pricey keyboard, so I don't mind waiting a while longer...
 
I was in the apple store this weekend and almost picked one up there. I believe the keyboard I was holding was the wireless version. I could be mistaken.

I really doubt it. I've called not only all over my state in the numerous Apple stores, but in neighboring states as well. None of them have it, and they said they expect it to ship in about 3-4 weeks, just like the Apple website says for shipping. Ridiculous...

Who knows, maybe you were holding one...but I think that's pretty doubtful.
 
My new wireless keyboard just shipped today and should be here in a few days time! I ordered it the week they were announced so i've been waiting for ages.
 
Good news! My iMac (the one in my sig) has just shipped today! AND I got the wireless keyboard and mouse. Still, the store says 3-4 weeks for the keyboard alone.

LOL! Lead keyboard - hidden "feature" that causes you to forget that you already bought one and buy a second. That way, Apple can really cash in. :p

I am typing this post on the keyboard in question. I've had it since last week Tuesday.

In case you were wondering, it is very nice. Fits perfectly in my backpack.

I just called the Apple 5th Ave store and they are still not in stock. They have no idea when they are coming in..

Nice to see Apple announce a product and not make it available for 6 weeks. I really can't deal with my current keyboard much longer.
