after:

notice the thinner over all body and less white space on either side of the screen and the isight.

wouldnt this be a great alternative to the mac book pro? :)

Nope. It'll be called the MacBook. ;)

and not the iBook.  :p :p

I said 'Nice But wont it be called the Macbook'
Not Nice But it wont be called the Macbook

i'm hoping for a better resolution on them, but that's only wishful thinking. You don't get the mac experience with 1024x768 :(.

I dont think apple will put the latch right above the isight but rather on the sides like they did with the MBP.

it will be interesting to see what they do. question is will we see widescreen ibook 15 inch? that would be amazing and definitley a better resoloution. 1024 is just disgusting.

My hopes too. We probably won't see anything bigger than 13.3 though. Grrr.

Ideally, I'd like something like a 14.4" that is thin as my TiBook (which shouldn't be hard at all) ..My 15" TiBook isn't bulky by any means, and is ironically easier to carry around than my parents' 14" Dell Inspiron.

Oh, and this 14" should be able to support at LEAST 1280x854!

yeah... 1280 is a must these days... in my opinion. you cant do anything else.
im still so stumed on whether to buy a 15" or 13".

I think it'll be widescreen though.. all Mac's will be widescreen by the end of this year.

Uh, what? How would 1280x1024 do on a 12" screen? Yeah, too small. I have an iBook and the resolution is great for the size of the screen.

Unless you're talking about the 14" one, then I'd agree with you, 1280x1024 all the way.

If you really need extra space, you could always get Desktop Manager or screen spanning doctor + external monitor.
