There is honestly no way to tell now. Everyone was SOOOO sure that it was going to be June again this year, and now that it happened to be in october, people are saying "oh well its for sure october next year"

For all anyone knows they could possibly not even come out with a new one in 2012 and it wont be out till early 2013.

Its all speculation and personal opinion.

It's not fair to say that no one knew, ever. You can say that no one knew 6 months early, though. So what you should be saying is that it's too early to tell right now.

But I can promise you that by April we'll be able to tell you if a June launch is happening or not.

If they release a new iPhone next June they would give the iPhone 4S a 8 month life as the newest iPhone. If anything this could push people away from the "S" models of iPhones in the future so I don't see them going back to June.

No one knows, and we wont know until Apple releases a statement. Since I'm on a 2 year contract with my 4S I'll probably wait for the 6 anyway.

It's not confidence, but mere common sense. It's Apple's top product, they're going to want it come out right before the holiday season. Look at the iPhone activations during this holiday season - they shattered all previous records.

I don't know off the top of my head, but has Apple ever released a product before their regular cycle?

And besides, 100% of iPhone 4 owners will say it will be released in June and 100% of current 4S owners will say Fall.
