Ok, so I'm "stuck" on iTunes 12.6, (which on High Sierra is crashing like a 5 year old at the wheel of an F1 car by the way), but can some one just explain to me how it's all supposed to work now.
So I use my phone I suspect like everyone else, that is switch on and go. I don't keep a list of what apps I have and which of those I have installed.
I'm guessing that iTunes 12.7 doesn't delete any apps from your Mac when you do the upgrade?
If you have to do a wipe and then use a local backup, (I do not and won't use iCloud), surely you'll have to go through - in my case 159 apps and remember what was and what wasn't installed and then download them again?
I must be missing something as I cannot fathom how some one decided that searching the purchased tab on what might be a 3.5" screen on what might be a spotty connection could be a good user experience.
Have I got it all topsy turvy?
