I am really interested in these drives, one, because they are LaCie, and two because they look like giant LEGO blocks. I noticed that the portable ones have Firewire and USB 2.0, however, the desktop drives only feature USB 2.0. Does anybody know if LaCie plans to release either a combo version of the desktop drive, or a firewire version? My problem is, I really don't care much for USB 2.0, I really could benefit from the Firewire's speed and daisy chaining ability rather than having to add another PCI USB2 2.0 card.

Any information would be appreciated.

You got a link or something?

Those are really cool  They do look just like legos. I didn't expect them to be colored! Now I want one.... but your right, no firewire on the desktops sucks.
