The new Macbook Air for graphic designer

So is it a good idea to purchase the new Macbook Air if I work only in Adobe Creative Suite? Money is an issue with me, so I'd like to get the most for my money. I have a Macbook Pro with a 1.83 GHz Intel Core Duo and 2 GB 667 MHz SDRAM that I got five (!) years ago. It is only good for web surfing anymore, so I really need to purchase a new one sooner rather than later.

No, I wouldn't do that. There's no problem with the CPU/GPU and depending on your requirements you could probably live with the limited disk space, but the screen is not suitable for graphics design.

You have to mate it with an external display. Best of both worlds
