Why did they not make new adapters (just like the air) for the new MacBook's. They ARE aluminum now, so a white one looks kinda stupid.

I want to buy the MBA one, but it would take longer to charge, so I'm hoping Apple releasing a MBA style one for the MacBook's cause it makes more sense..

I wanted the air style one too! I guess Apple just had a bunch of the old ones still in their parts bin. :)

But...The Air one does work in the new MB.

Yeah, the one on the MBA looks kind of like the one on the new ACD. Because it is oriented at an angle, the old Magsafe wouldn't really fit unless you were to have the side of the MBA hanging off the table.

The one on the ACD looks that way because it has to work with the Air. That's the only reason it's that way.

Yeah, makes sense. Really though Apple should go to the MBA style in all their adapters. I find it less intrusive to have the cable angle out the rear than to have it stick straight out from the side. I have less of a tendency of pulling the MBA style connector out when moving around.
