The new MBP Trackpad

I'm not sure if it's just me, but dosen't the new MBP trackpads feel more responsive than the last MBP trackpads? I have a base model of the last MacBook Pro models and tried one of the new ones at my local Apple store and the 2 finger scrolling seems much more fluid. Mine is kinda jerky when scrolling . I just wanted to know if anyone else has noticed this.
