Why not keep the new, thin Ultra Light typeface as the default for iOS 7 with the option to change to Helv.?

The new typeface was one of the things that really made iOS look new, fun, different, and unique. Reverting to the typeface we use now (or close to it) is a big step in the wrong direction for Apple.

I believe Ultra Light is not hard to read - in fact it's cleaner and just better-looking all-around. But if Apple is concerned, just give people the option in Settings / Accessibility.

Solutions:
1. Create a new font between Helvetica Neue Light and Helvetica Neue in terms of thickness and size so that people from both sides can be satisfied.
2. Option to switch system font in setting (less likely).
3. Jailbreak to change system font to whatever we like.

Agreed, I actually preferred the look of the thinner fonts and it would be nice to have the option to switch to bolder fonts if necessary. Only time will tell.
