The next iPhone?

Looking for a little help.

I used to follow the Apple scene very closely, but have fallen out of touch since leaving the iPhone for Android a couple of years back.

I'm currently loving my HTC One, but I am once again intrigued by the iPhone based on what I see from iOS 7.

My question is this: Will Apple be releasing new hardware this year? I know that it has not been announced, but is it expected?

If Apple just had a 5" screen, I'd be back in a heartbeat, but the current hardware is such a downgrade from the HTC One, that would be a tough switch. Any input would be appreciated.

More input from you is needed. What are you liking about the IOS 7 preview? Is a larger screen your only dealbreaker?

the iphone 5s will be released in Sept of 2013, and IOS7 will be released shortly before. There may be a 128gb model, but this is not confirmed yet. Expect a better camera and better processor, same exact exterior.
