The now playing icon is showing on my watch I don’t know why or how to stop it.

Do not know how turn off now playing on the watch
I do it use it. Not sure why it is showing

Turn off "auto-launch audio apps" under Display & Brightness.

Sometimes this happens if you listen to audio on any of your devices, or even a family device

Have you tried a reboot? My watch occasionally just gets confused and shows the now playing icon for no reason. A reboot always fixes it.

Alternatively, what comes up when you tap the icon? Does it show anything in the Now Playing interface?

I finally got rid of it. Not sure what I did. Between the watch and watch app on my phone I played with a few settings and it finally disappeared. Thanx for responding.
