The Offical (R) Imac g3vs g4 vs g5 thread

What Imac do you like the most cosmetically? The g3, the g4, or the g5? Why?

I like the g4, because of the polished metal neck and the silver apple logo.

After reading Mike Magee's impressions, I knew I had to have an iLamp. "It is difficult to arrive at a visual image or a metaphor for how it might be grasped, except to be reminded of a weight lifter picking up barbell or a farmer picking up a dead chicken by the neck."

That reminds me, I need to poke around and find out if anyone ever worked out the display interface. I'd like to convert some of these into monitors some time soon, even if it takes disemboweling conventional monitors of the same size to get there.

ill be sitting in the computer lab which is full of compaqs and 15in crt monitors and i will reach and try to MOVE THE MONITOR. the balanced lcd on the imac g4 is something that i will surely miss when i have to leave this computer behind.
