The OFFICIAL Mac Pro is out of date and needs an update thread

We haven't seen a Mac Pro update in over 500 days and no new rumors coming out of Cupertino about a new update.

How does it feel to pay for outdated hardware?
Why haven't they updated with new video card options?
What type of processor are they going to be using?
What configurations are there going to be?
What about BTO options? Blu-ray? HD-DVD? Harpertown? Penryn? New RAM?
What's taken Apple so long??
What can we expect at MacWorld San Francisco?
What if there isn't an update at MacWorld San Francisco?

AND more! Discuss it all here where others feel your frustration and can talk about the update that could very well less than two weeks off!

Do you feel frustrated that it's taken Apple this long? Do you feel used by Apple that they expect top dollar for an outdated machine? What do you think should be in the next Mac Pro??
