The old issue of accidently deleting my System Preferences

I accidently deleted my System preferences and I am a new member
1. I have an Imac Version 10.5.8
2. I don't think I have the startup disk or beginning installation disk
3. I really don't have a friend willing to give it
4. I would really like to be able to download it from a link or website

I would really appreciate it

There's no such thing as a legal download of 10.5.anything (other than updates for those who already have a working version)
