I'm running DrivePulse in the background of my Mac Pro. Every few days it returns a warning (harmless as it may be) for two preference files. The files are:

"/Users/name/Library/Preferences/com.TegraUSA.Tailpiece.plist"
and
"/Users/name/Library/Preferences/com.roverbetter.couvade.plist"

It reports that these pref files are corrupt. I drag them to the trash, yet whatever app is creating them recreates them and the cycle begins all over. I highly doubt they're harmful, rather I am simply curious as to what they are. Any ideas?

Stop using drivepulse and that will fix your problem.

I'm not being coy, I don't think you need that level of attention on your hard drives. You don't need a utility that runs after few minutes to make sure to monitor the health of the HD

Good post... that made me laugh. :)
Can't really argue with that, I suppose.

But... any idea which app generates those pref files? Searches turn up zilch...just curious.
