the older iPhoto

I have a question how do I change the name of rolls. When i change the file of the roll it will not let me view the picture in iphoto. When i go to library when i scroll through photos and when the banner comes up stating the roll i would like to change that.

Select the fil roll, and change the "title", which is the first field in the Information pane (bottom-left corner). If you don't see it, click the "i" in the bottom-left corner.
