Hmm.. so this new iphone will be out in a few months. So I have a feeling that there will be a HUGE software feature thrown into IOS6.. The question is what do you think it will be?

Replace Nixon with Jobs.

I consider this thread to be a admittance that iOS6 was a huge disappointment.

Also I will bet that iOS6 will not have a huge software addition when the new iPhone5 comes out. It will be hardware related, such as NFC and LTE. There will probably be a sharing/banking/interaction software for the NFC chip, and there will probably be a data monitoring/capping solution in Settings to keep users safe from going over their data allotment every month (which Android already does).

There won't be a "one more thing". I'm sure another feature or two will be added, but "one more thing" was Steve's.

Throwing a HUGE non-beta tested software feature into almost 100,000,000 devices is a recipe for disaster.

Are we forgetting FaceTime and Siri? Nether were in the betas up until the iPhone's release.

I think he meant if NFC is in the new iPhone then it'll be used through Passbook. Makes the most sense to me.

Possibly! But Passbook can be used without NFC! After all, it only holds boarding passes, cupons, ticket, receipts and stuff and it provides live updates to them. Would you not think there would be an app you would use to make payments through NFC?

Tim: One More Thing. Steve is actually still alive. I will now introduce him to the stage so he can demonstrate "One More Thing"

Steve: One More Thing:p

It would be "Wireless inductive charging client is embedded in this iPhone for free. Accessory makers will sell a pad for $29 separately."
