Well like you hear once in a while I accidentally formated my data/backup hard drive by accident, confusing it with my Windows XP. I right away stop the formating from Disk Utilities, but I was not fast enough and I lost all my data. Right now I have a small program in Windows that can scan partition but I dont know what I can do.

So in my sad moment in my life I lost some crucial data, good thing I just backed up the Designs I have but not the personal photos, videos, movies, and so much more.

I can appreciate any help advice what I can do. I had a FAT 32 format HD that I accidentally made into Mac OS format.

Please help me out

Thank you

So it was FAT32 and you reformatted it? This tutorial MAY be of help. The program is Windows only. And it cost US$50.

If not I hope you are successful.

Ok just bought GetBackData software that my friend recommended for my situation and its detecting all the files.

Its has several versions depending on the HD case.

Thanks for tips
