The print task icon on the dock stays there in Leopard

On leopard, whenever I print some documents the printer utility appear on the dock, which is fine. But after the print task is done, it stays there. I seem to remember that in tiger it will close and disappear automatically. Is there a way to set it to close and disappear from the dock automatically?

Right click the printer icon in the dock and check "Auto Quit". This should probably have been made the default as it was in Tiger.
