Ok, I love the App Store, but a big problem for me and maybe some others is that the programs don't give requirements like boxed Mac or PC programs do, especially games.
The requirements for everything is a vague "Mac OSX 16.6.6".
Some of the more graphic intensive games looked interesting and I wanted to check them out (Trine, Chopper 2), but I hardly have a powerful GPU. I know lite games are fine and Angry Birds runs very fast as does Pangea Arcade.
They really need to put specs on there. Steam does this!
Something like:
Mac OSX 10.6.6 or higher
2.0ghz Core Duo or higher recommended
1 GB Ram minimum, 2GB+ Recommended
9400M or better recommended.
Intel GMA not recommended.
And so on. There's a lot of 2006 to early 2008 Macbooks, Airs and Mini's out there.
While it's true many Mac users may not know this info and they are trying to simplify things, it's possible that people could buy stuff they can't even use.
