So anyone else picked up this little marvel. Quite possibly one of finest looking games I've played.

With this and Rayman it's certainly an amazing time for 2d platforming.

I only saw the first trailer back when they introduced it, and it seemed kinda loud and gaudy to me. Not sure if this is for me. Is there a demo?

Don't think there is a demo....

Basically if you like platforming games then its worth checking out. I bought my copy pre-ordered months ago from Amazon and got it for £23!! Basically less than half the price of most new games.... So not sure if that's indicative of they don't expect it to sell well - especially in an environment of GTA shadowing everything else....

Maybe after a few weeks. While I was checking, I now see a Diablo III demo up (none before at launch).

Retail is $40 for it.

have this together with Diablo 3 and Beyond Two Souls on my "i'll buy it after GTA V" list ;)

Yeah to be honest I've got such a backlog of games already and holiday silly season hasn't even started....
Pikmin 3, wonderful 101, Splinter Cell blacklist, Zelda Wind Waker, Rayman Legends on Wii u alone, GTA V and now the fab puppeteer on PS3 (along with No No Kuni that I've barely scratched the surface) mario & Luigi dream team, donkey Kong, animal crossing on 3DS...

Add sonic, Mario land 3D, Zelda 3DS, Pokemon to the mix..... Soon...

And then I haven't even factored in my PS4 pre-order and 5 retail games + 2 PSN I've already decided on and I'm literally in need of two or five weeks of serious me time to get on top.......
