This news certainly doesn't come as a shock, but none the less I'm still sad to hear it. As he said himself in 2013, "I'm still here but yet I'm not."

We have lost yet another country legend, and truly a good man.
 
Sad that more of the real country artists are fading away. No surprise with Glen. We knew he was going to fade fast. Too bad the new crap country music can't go back to its roots.

Always loved Glen Campbell. He was probably the last country artist I listened to. I'd rather listen to rap than most of today's country.

I'll be humming Wichita Lineman for weeks.

Campbell was maybe the first real country crossover artist that was able to hit a mainstream audience. The difference between him and today's country music was his didn't suck.

OMG - I remember watching this when it originally aired on TV!

(Weird watching this in COLOR - we had only a B/W 25" console growing up...)
