Eventually new ideas will be slim for iPhone apps, but I thought this possible trend is interesting.
Take an older app such as [app]Imaginary Pet Horse[/app] and simply rename it, [app]iUnicorn[/app].

I've seen other examples, but this one is funny as there are no unicorns contained within the second app whatsoever.

Edited to add:
I just noticed they appear to be two different developers so the second pretty much ripped-off the first.
 
There's another ripoff:

[app]Download Manager[/app] by VTechnology vs [app]Download Manager Pro[/app] by DYSoftware

It's the same developer. If you read the description on the Pro app, it clearly states an update of their Download Manager app was rejected 3 times, so they submitted the Pro as a new app. Under a different developer name is beyond me.
