Hi,

I have an very irritating problem when trying to manually turn on the screensaver or turn off the screen / put it to sleep:

The computer suddenly and with out moving anything on the keyboard or mice, suddenly reactivates, wakes up from the sleep and I have to punch in my username and password.

Any way to turn off and get this to work properly?

I see the need for turning of the monitor, when I want to focus on other stuf. Like i.e. when playing and recording flute or keyboard.

Same problem here (excluding the flute part ;-)).

Even in hibernate the iMac very often wakes up. I would like to set it to: "wake up only on CLICK". Does that work somehow?

Just a suggestion, but why not set up the sceensaver to activate via hot corners?
That way it will sleep/wake when you want it to.
