If you have a Quest 3 - open up a window and walk up next to it...what do you see? Giant pixellated text, rendered at whatever the original resolution of the window was when opened up.

Do the same on Apple Vision Pro - what do you see? Beautifully rendered fonts scaled up to the proper size for the distance you are from the window. A 50" twitter window is perfectly usable when standing right next to it, because of the incredible font rendering happening behind the scenes. And the best part is - it is completely unnoticeable, the adjustment to larger font sizes happens as you physically move closer to the window. Beyond that - the text is always readable no matter the distance you place the window from yourself (Yes you can make it to small if you want, by physically moving across the room and placing it somewhere.

These are the small details that nobody notices, that ultimately make the AVP experience better than other competitors. Still a long way to go, but it is a solid software foundation.

If this was only the issue about the Quest...

I was trying to use it's handtracking some minutes ago with the Q3 and it's a complete mess. I don't even know how they dare to enable something that should be in Beta because it works so bad. You need to move your hands super slow and even doing so you misclick a lot of times

So long as I have decent lighting, my device seems to fare quite well. The battery life hit on the other hand ...

I’m with you 100%

Folks say things like “other headsets have done the same things, AVP isn’t any better”

No, they haven’t. And yes, it is. Nothing else is even in the same league.
