How long did it take you to find the Left-hand Shift key instead of the ' key 
Slowly getting used to my new rMB but it's proving far more difficult than I imagined. I think it probably is about as fast as the 2013 i7 MBA it has replaced, but the UI lags a lot more in places (always swiping up to switch screens) making it feel slower. I'm beginning to like the short travel on the keyboard, but am struggling to find the right one when it's toward the edge. I think this is because it goes right to the edge, where I'm used to some space around the sides. Need to reposition my hands a bit further apart?
The screen really is fantastic, and I can't believe I managed to convince myself in 2013 that there wasn't much between the MBA and rMBP screens. Might have been the Apple store lighting, but sitting in my house the rMB screen is so much clearer.
The Minix USB-C hub that I bought seems to work well, although I'm unlikely to use it as a hub and more a multi-purpose adapter. Lots of reviews suggest it doesn't work well with everything plugged in, but so far when I've used it for USB-A or HDMI or Ethernet it's worked fine. Also bought a Anker USB-C charging block which also has 4 USB-A ports. Half the price of the Apple one and far more useful as I can also charge other devices (including my phone)
