Interesting, how much is that and where did you get it?

Uhmmm...click the letters of my words...its a link;)

I just ordered 2 today. Expensive yes, but I have two docks I use everyday - an alarm clock and a dock in my car. I definitely don't want to carry my phone naked. So I'll pay for convenience ( and keep in mind the cost of the phone ).

Glad I was able to help...I figure if I spent $300+ on an iPhone each year ($600 on the very first) that these little gadgets are more then worth the pennies. I also have two:)

Any other solutions out there for extending an iPhone 4 dock? I leave mine in all day at work but I hate removing and replacing the bumper everyday.

I wish Apple made a non-remote universal dock. I don't need that big bulky and more expensive stuff.

I also wish the Griffin Simplifi worked plugged only into the wall...but it only works when plugged into power AND USB. The Simplifi works great next to my iMac but something on my night stand would be nice.

Why aren't there more 3rd party dock solutions?

$28?! Almost as much as a dock. It sucks there aren't any companies that make this and sell it cheaper. I couldn't find anything from a quick google/ebay search.

I might have to get this for my dock... Thanks for sharing!

I found this one that's cheaper but doesn't look as polished:

There are also ones with cords like this one:

HTH :)
