I got the HP 5280 (I think that was the number). The HP software seems to work quite well**.
It's an all in one printer for $130 at Sams club.
I choose this model because of the use of only 2 ink cases.
*Always have the printer turned off when booting up the computer.
This may go for other printers too.
(There are 2 background process for my HP printer - HP Event Handler and HP IO Classic Proxy - that I believe cause the boot up problem.)
** Computer boots up in open firmware. (not a big problem, but ARGG!)
