So they're only for notification and phone calls?

I was really hoping it can read messages or turn by turn nav.

I don't get it either...sound is fine on phone calls but apps only play through the phone and not the Watch??!? Even when the app is displaying on the watch, sound is on iPhone.

Plus no Siri voice or music on the Watch is strange. Why not?

guess apple already have this figured out and will put it out in a few updates so it'll seem like they're working really hard haha

Battery life and the fact that we are still at version 1 of the Watch OS. Battery life will be an issue for the watch going forward. But the OS will improve dramatically in next three months.

You have to have your iPhone to use maps in the first place. Why would you want turn by turn voice directions come out of your Apple Watch and not your phone directly?...

Still don't see why
Your argument is the same one people are using against the watch
Why do I need this when my phone can do all that already

One is on the wheel and the other is in your pocket.

On your wrist it's a distraction while driving. Dumb.
Phones can be on a mount or connected to your car's sound system.

Incorrect. Your watch can only do navigation because of your phone. Without it it's not possible. So for right now why do you need the sound to come out of the small speaker on your wrist instead of your phone...where the maps are being generated from anyway? Think about it
