I'm personally curious as to how many users are staying with their iPhone 4's even after their contracts are up. I've chosen to keep using mine for the time being. It's still running at optimal performance; a lot of memories have been accumulated over the past two years with it. Anyone else out keeping theirs?

Point of this? Sentimental value, really?

Considering this is a discussion forum I'd wager that theres a point for any thread. I'm not going to elaborate on how I value a sandwich of glass and electronic components, though.

I know a guy at work who still uses his 3gs from launch and hi# wife still ro ks the original iphone. So it's a matter of what works and how it works for you. My iphone 4 was great and I only switched to my sgs3 to try android again.

Playing with my wife's iPhone 5 really makes me want to get one to. I dunno the phones may not be the latest and greatest but they work well and out of the box give a better more finished product

Since I made it to my 2 year contract I decided to upgrade. Hope it was not a bad idea . . . But I tend to skip one generation on these things.

Am definitely keeping it but am absolutely buying the iPhone 5 as well - where is that option? :D

I never sold or will ever sell my iPhones.

I upgraded. No regrets, loving the 5 and sold the 4 for a fair amount. Battery life is better on my old 4 which is a bummer, but everything else is better and AT&T LTE is awesome.

The important thing is why you aren't going to upgrade.

If someone were to hand you the iPhone 5 would you say no?
