I've been using my rMBP for about 2 weeks now. I had to boot up my old ASUS laptop to dig for a few old files, and man, looking at that screen now is like going back to the Stone Age. I'm sitting here wondering how the hell I spent two years putting my eyes through that.

I can't believe all the hand-wringing I've seen about the world not being ready for the retina yet. This screen is the light, no matter which webpage is ready for it or not. Using it for 10, 15 minutes in the Apple store really doesn't give you much of a chance to appreciate it. Apple should loan these babies out for a day or two.

If Edinburgh wasn't the only capital city in Europe still in the stone age (without an Apple store), I'd surely do that.

Same thing happened when I used an iPhone 3G after owning a 4.

The 5 minutes I played with the rMBP at my local Apple Store, I was able to appreciate it, however, I sit far enough from my 1440x900 screen that I don't notice it enough.
