The Storage Space Indicator

Hi, Is there a bug in Yosemite that causes the the storage space indicator from the apple menu to show incorrect data?
In My Case, its showing I have 80GB of Apps installed, which i know is not correct as I have about 30GB, However the "Other" Category has disappeared. Is this a known bug?

Yeah... that thing is hopelessly screwed up in Yosemite. You can run the command below in Terminal to reindex Spotlight and that will fix it, but it always seems to come back.
