Pretty unlikely. Even if they did, the processor upgrades they have available aren't that noteworthy anyway.

Man is it already that time of year? Seems like we were playing "TheAppleStoreIsDownWhatsItGonnaBe?" a few months ago...

You won't notice the difference.

It's not about noticing the difference, it's about having a much better, much more refined chip. I've said it many times, but Intel themselves is on the record saying the Arrandale silicon has a lot more work to be done on. Thus going from a 2.66 Rev. A Arrandale to a 2.8 Rev. B Arrandale is a considerable upgrade, and not at all like going from a 2.66 C2D which was already a proven and well-optimized chip to a 2.8 C2D.

The timing is a bit odd though; true Wednesday is the new Tuesday, but it's before midnight Cupertino time which makes me think it's probably just maintenance.

The update could be one of many possibilities

- Maintenance
- iLife 2011
- iWork 2011
- New iPod Classic
- New MacBook Air
- White iPhone
- 7" iPad :eek::mad:
- New MacBook Pro :D

I think a new MacBook Pro is very unlikely right now but I wish it was updated now because I'd buy one :D

That's what I thought it could be but a blog is saying they have been a while and it's near that time for updates... Just gotto wait and see :(

I'd say iLife+iWork

No new iPod classic, I feel that will be discontinued.

MBP Cud be likely, they've done updates during October in the past, and if that was the case, I wud be giving back my just bought 4 days ago MBP paying the silly restocking fee and getting the new one :D

It's exactly what I'm waiting for this month!!

i heard from local genius that ilife would be released this month. so its possible to be ilife. I wish it was macbook pro because i'm getting a new macbook pro 13 and i don't want to wait until april. right now i dont have a good computer, my last macbook 4 year old died on me. I'm running a desktop pc with linux, i can't even synch my ipod touch and stuff =P

i don't think ipod classic will be continued. Ipod touch is better and if they discontinue ipod classic people will buy the ipod touch and they will get more profit from it because of the itunes store app content and so. So i'm guessing it will be just the ilife upgrade and maybeeeee but i doubt it, iwork.

And in Sweden the store is up again. No new MBP. Which is good as mine is delivered in a few hours :D

iPad with front-facing camera?
J/K :p

Update: The store is up and there seems to be nothing.
