Apple started using Myriad as corporate font in 2003 but it's never appeared in Mac OS X's UI. While nothing beats Lucida Grande IMO – especially the HiDPI variant – I gave Myriad Set Pro Text a try. It's not bad but a little wider than the original, with the Semibold variety being slightly too wide for my taste.
